Love this sign at the RV Park! First time for this one.
Beautiful drive into Durango, only about 45 minutes. We all agreed, it's nice to see a change from the rocks to some green pastures and farmland... and more wild flowers.
We had forgotten how dog friendly this place was, or maybe they have been improving it along the way, but every single store (except food stores & inside dining) allowed dogs....not only do they allow them, they welcome them. Lu even got her fill of dog bones.
The sidewalks are filled with flowers and seating and dog bowls of fresh water!
Enjoyed a refreshment and snack in between our retail therapy....
Even the FedEx driver carries dog bones and yes, Lu got herself another one!
Lots of wall art around town.
I'd have to say when dogs are allowed in all stores it makes for a very successful retail therapy day!
Durango is full of old historic buildings.
The others went through the Train Museum so Lu and I enjoyed some more shopping.
We stopped again at another restaurant and the inside was so cool!
Down to the Riverwalk for a stroll and green grass for Lu!
The river is high and flowing super fast. We saw a girl with her kayak and a giy helped her drag it up the bank. He said..."oh man, are you doing this all by yourself,?"... and she says ...."No, the other guy drowned!"😂🤣😅
